【摘要】:Thewidespreaduseofthermocoupleconnectorsrequiresstandardizationofmatingdimensionsandperformancecharacteristics.Thisspecificationdescribesstandardizedthermocoupleconnectordimensionsandcapabilitiesandincludestestproceduressuitableforevaluatingtheperformanceofaparticularspecimenordesign.Thetestsdescribedarenotintendedforroutineinspectionorrapidtestingoflargegroupsofconnectorsorforqualitycontrolpurposes.1.1Thisspecificationcoversseparablesingle-circuitthermocoupleconnectorswithtworoundpins.Connectorscoveredbythisspecificationmustberatedforcontinuoususetoatleast300x00B0;F(150x00B0;C),buttheymayoptionallyberatedhigher.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotcovermultiple-circuitconnectors,multi-pinconnectors,miniatureconnectors,orconnectorsintendedprimarilyforpanelmounting.Hightemperatureconnectors(forexample,thosedesignedforcontinuoususeattemperaturesaboveapproximately500x00B0;F(260x00B0;C))arenotintendedtobecoveredbythisspecification.1.3Thevaluesstatedineitherinch-poundunitsorSIunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarystatementpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section9,ofthisspecification.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
